Well, this was an unexpected honor. New England Clean Energy has been named Best of the Best for solar by eight-time Emmy award winning investigative journalist Rich Noonan.
As Noonan says in his news story, he did not tell anyone here at Clean Energy that he was researching our company. We knew nothing about this until we saw the footage ourselves.
I’m thrilled that his research, which included evaluation of our many online customer reviews, identified characteristics we strive to display every day:
- An educational approach with no high-pressure sales tactics
- Great attention to quality design of solar energy systems by well-trained crews
- Integrity, which we define in our 10 Point Pledge to customers as honesty and transparency.
As Noonan points out in the piece, “what customers say about a business is far more important than what the leaders of the company say about their own business.” So I’ll stop typing and let the episode of Best of the Best Television do the talking.
More on Rich Noonan: Noonan, a former CBS Atlanta and FOX Philadelphia news anchor, won Emmy awards for major crime and investigative reports including one on the Philadelphia Mafia war in the 90s. After almost 25 years in television news, Rich started Best of the Best Television, where his team of journalists researches and profiles American companies with the highest customer satisfaction.
