You CAN Go Solar in Hudson!
A message from Mark Durrenberger, president and founder of New England Clean Energy:
On June 11, at Hudsonfest in downtown Hudson, MA, I was surprised to hear a few fellow residents say they didn’t think they could go solar in Hudson. Turns out some of the solar leasing companies are telling people that Hudson Light & Power doesn’t allow its customers to install solar energy systems. Here’s an important clarification: You can’t lease a solar energy system in Hudson, under HL&P rules. You can, however, purchase a solar energy system, which will save and make you money. You can also finance that solar through a loan like the Mass Solar Loan.
So if you’ve been holding back, thinking you couldn’t go solar, rest assured you can (as long as you have a solar-friendly roof). In fact, I’m a Hudson resident, and I have solar on my house. So do these Clean Energy customers from Hudson:
“I highly recommend New England Clean Energy for a residential solar electric system. Very professional, very knowledgeable, and very good equipment and installation.” — Peter Feil
“New England Clean Energy did a great job with our installation. From start to finish it went flawlessly. The staff was knowledgeable and answered emails and phone calls quickly. Everything went exactly as they said and on time. I could not be more pleased.” — Michael Thanos
“Mark, Jonathan, & crew did a great job.” — Dave Rykbost
HL&P even offers a rebate for some customers, on top of the electricity savings, federal tax credit, state tax credit, and “SREC” income you’ll get to help pay for your solar investment. Call us at 978-567-6527 or fill out our web inquiry form today to get started.
