These Hopkinton homeowners reduced their electricity price from 20 cents to 8 cents with the help of a solar energy system purchased from N.E. Clean Energy. After the system pays for itself through electric bill savings, SREC income and the 30% federal tax credit, they will continue to enjoy years of free power.

As the “before” and “after” photos show, we moved two vent pipes to make more room for their 25 SunPower 345-watt panels.
