Life in New England

No one wants snow days after their solar electric system goes live, as happened to this customer in early 2013. But that’s life in New England! The good news is, as soon as a corner of a panel is exposed to sunlight, the entire panel warms up, speeding up the process of snow shedding, which happens faster than snow sliding off of the shingles, as this photo shows. (These panels are Siliken 250-watt, “black on black” panels.)
