Barre Barn

Warning: If you’re afraid of heights, don’t look at these photos!  

The photos taken during this installation give you a sense just how steep a 12-pitch, 45-degree angle roof actually is. Installers in California and parts of the country where flatter roofs are the norm have no idea what it’s like to install solar in New England! And, the roof is metal — more slippery than shingles.

But it was worth it. The end result? A beautiful system on a beautiful roof (94% of ideal) on a beautiful barn in Barre.
