Green from the Start

We can’t show you before and after photos of this home because it didn’t exist before! These homeowners planned for solar, and had New England Clean Energy install a system, as part of their new home construction. This happens more and more, and while it makes sizing the system for the home’s electricity needs tricky, since no one knows what those needs are, it’s a great way to be green from the start. And, running solar conduit between the roof and basement is very easy, as you would imagine.

The solar energy system will produce about $120 worth of electricity a month, and can always be expanded if needed.
