Like many of Mass Audubon’s facilities, the Environmental Learning Center (ELC) at Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary features a snazzy and powerful solar electric system on its roof. In this case, the system has 119, 360-watt panels.

The 3,700-sq.-ft. ELC opened in June 2018 and is used for environmental education programs taught by teachers and naturalists in support of Mass Audubon’s goal of connecting people with nature.
