New England Clean Energy is proud to have helped Mass Audubon install solar energy systems at many of its facilities. This 27-panel system at the Habitat Education Center & Wildlife Sanctuary is smaller than many of Mass Audubon’s other solar systems, but it still packs an environmental punch. By generating clean, emissions-free electricity, 12,500 fewer pounds of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide are released into the atmosphere each year. That’s equivalent to the carbon absorption capability of 4.5 acres of trees.
