Alpha Rho

Alpha Rho — one of the largest domestic manufacturers of high quality rigid plastic boxes — installed a 745-panel solar electric system on the roof of its 36,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Fitchburg. Alpha Rho President David Tall has this to say about going solar:

“When you consider the benefits I’m getting with no upfront investment, you have to wonder why every business isn’t installing solar. The Return on Investment is fantastic. And working with New England Clean Energy, an experienced, local installer, made the whole process very easy.”

The system is reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the air by 412,800 pounds per year, which is equivalent to taking 39 cars off the road or planting almost 150 acres of trees.
