A Perfect Solar Fit

Solar energy systems on flat roofs and hidden under snow are hard to photograph, but this project is too cool to not post for all to enjoy. The owners of this contemporary home replaced the aging shingle roof with an attractive standing seam metal roof. We installed 31 solar panels for them spread across all three roof sections. You can see how neatly the solar racking attaches to a standing seam roof in a few of the photos. The last photo – if you look closely – shows the final system.
