Q. Should I insure the system?

A. Many of our customers choose to insure their systems, and we recommend it. Simply let your homeowner’s insurance company know about your solar. In many cases, the incremental cost is minor. Repairing damage to panels caused by accidents or force majeure must be processed through your homeowner’s insurance, which typically covers materials and labor, as those are not covered under our warranties.
