Tax Exemption

For our Massachusetts customers, here’s a link to the official form stating that your solar energy system is exempt from property tax increases for 20 years. In other words, your town cannot raise your property taxes because you install solar. They can, of course, raise them for other reasons. 🙂

Rhode Island passed a law in 2016 making solar exempt from property tax increases in all cities and towns.

In New Hampshire, each city or town decides if they will make solar exempt.
