Since 2014, soon after Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester started its Operation Playhouse program, New England Clean Energy and Canadian Solar (NASDAQ: CSIQ) have been donating mini-solar energy systems for installation on these playhouses. So we take a personal interest in watching the program grow and succeed. But, we’d never managed to actually build…  Read the entire post »

Solar on the Tube

September 27, 2016

We’re planning a Customer Appreciation Day event, and it reminded me of these two videos filmed at our first Customer Appreciation Day a few years ago. The event was a big hit. The day after the “Nemo” Nor’easter dumped two feet of snow, we had customers turn out in force to talk solar with other…  Read the entire post »

This post is simply a bunch of fun photos of New England Clean Energy signs installed this week. First is a sign on Main Street in Lancaster, MA, where we are installing a 354-panel system for Perkins, a non-profit agency helping children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens. Second is a new sign on the exterior…  Read the entire post »

August 23, 2016

New England Clean Energy has started construction of a 115.8-kilowatt solar energy system at Perkins in Lancaster, Mass. Perkins is a human service agency for children, adolescents and senior citizens. We’re installing the system on the roof of the Perkins’ classroom building, and it should produce about 25 percent of the building’s electricity. The financial…  Read the entire post »
